The Pius X Thunderbolts basketball squad (Lincoln, NE), was nudged 36-33 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Skutt Catholic SkyHawks (Omaha, NE)

With the victory, Skutt Catholic advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The SkyHawks travel to Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE) to meet the Monarchs in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 14. The Monarchs enter the battle with a record of 1-2. Papillion-LaVista won 75-62 in their recent non-league battle against Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE)

The Thunderbolts now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Omaha Westside for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 14. Pius X will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 58-33 league win over Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
