Georgia High School Basketball - Tucker trounced by Southwest DeKalb

Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Tucker Tigers (Tucker, GA), 55-19 in a league match.

With the victory, Southwest DeKalb advances its record to 6-5 on the year. The Panthers host Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA) to meet the Red Devils in a AAAA Region 5 match on Tuesday, December 17. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 0-7. Druid Hills lost 77-9 in their recent league match against Northview (Johns Creek, GA)

The Tigers now own a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Meadowcreek for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. Tucker will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 63-26 league win over Berkmar (Lilburn, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-7.
