In Friday's non-league contest, the host Ardrey Kell Knights basketball team scored a close 19-17 triumph over the Marvin Ridge Mavericks.
The Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC). The Wolves go into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record.
In their next game, the Mavericks confront the Indian Land Warriors (Fort Mill, SC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Marvin Ridge will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
