The Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) basketball edged the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), 44-39 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Grizzlies now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lafayette for a non-league bout on Monday, December 16.
