The Salem Spartans basketball team scored 38 points and limited the visiting William Byrd Terriers to 27 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

With the loss, William Byrd falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Terriers host Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA) to play the Blue Demons in a non-league game on Monday, December 16. The Blue Demons go into the game with a record of 4-0. Christiansburg won 56-33 in their recent non-league game against Craig County (New Castle, VA)
