In Friday's non-league contest, the host Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders basketball team scored a close 55-50 triumph over the Clearfield Bison.
The Marauders (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Bison confront the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Clearfield will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
