The Bruins (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Glenvar prevailed over Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 68-38, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Buffaloes encounter the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Floyd County will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record.
