Virginia High School Basketball - Freeman holds off Deep Run

The Freeman Mavericks basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Deep Run Wildcats to 45 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mavericks now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Maggie Walker for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Freeman will confront a team coming off a 42-29 non-league loss to Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA). The record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Deep Run falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Hermitage (Richmond, VA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 1-3.
