High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC), 29-26 in a non-league match.
With the victory, High Point Central advances its record to 1-5 on the year. The Bison host Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC) to face the Cowboys in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 18. The Cowboys enter the match with a record of 3-2.
The Wildcats now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to T.W. Andrews for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. Eastern Guilford will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 59-44 non-league win over McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Red Raiders record now stands at 5-1.
