The North Surry Greyhounds were victorious over the visiting Wilkes Central Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 66-46 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Greyhounds face the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, January 3. North Surry will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the outing with a 1-3 record after their 38-36 non-league win over North Wilkes (Hays, NC).

The Eagles (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Tabernacle Christian (Hickory, NC). The Conquerors enter the non-league outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Tabernacle Christian ran past Union Grove Christian (Lexington, NC), 63-41, in a league outing.
