North Carolina High School Basketball - Southern Lee holds off Pinecrest

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Southern Lee Cavaliers basketball team scored a close 65-63 triumph over the Pinecrest Patriots.
The Cavaliers (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Triton (Erwin, NC). The Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Triton nipped Westover (Fayetteville, NC), 44-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots confront the Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Pinecrest will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record.
