The Smoky Mountain Mustangs basketball squad (Sylva, NC), was outscored 50-36 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC)

With the victory, Pisgah advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Bears host Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC) to meet the Cougars in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 21. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 0-2. Mountain Heritage lost 58-28 in their recent non-league battle against Asheville (Asheville, NC)

The Mustangs now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andrews for a non-league battle on Friday, December 20.
