California High School Basketball - Maxwell toppled by Biggs

December 13, 2025: Maxwell, CA 95955

Biggs Wolverines (Biggs, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA), 48-30 in a non-league contest.

The Wolverines (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against CORE Butte (Chico, CA). The Lynx go into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, CORE Butte was topped by Williams (Williams, CA), 70-41, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Hayfork Timberjacks (Hayfork, CA) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 15. Maxwell will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Timberjacks enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 59-50 non-league win over Modoc (Alturas, CA).
