The Denfeld Hunters basketball team (Duluth, MN), was trounced 86-50 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting St. Thomas Academy Cadets (Mendota Heights, MN)

The Cadets (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Tartan (Oakdale, MN). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Tartan trounced Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN), 84-76, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hunters battle the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (Grand Rapids, MN) in a AAA Section 7 match, on Tuesday, December 16. Denfeld will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Thunderhawks enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 68-51 non-league loss to Pequot Lakes (Pequot Lakes, MN).
