The Louisiana School for the Deaf War Eagles walloped the visiting Arkansas School for the Deaf Leopards basketball team by a tally of 48-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

The War Eagles now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they host False River for a C District 7 game on Tuesday, December 16. Louisiana School for the Deaf will play a Gators team coming off a 74-15 non-league loss to Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA). The Gators record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, Arkansas School for the Deaf falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Dermott (Dermott, AR) to play the Rams in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. The Rams come into the test with a record of 2-3. Dermott won 58-22 in their recent league test against Brinkley (Brinkley, AR)
