The Beaverhead County Beavers basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries to 54 in the Beavers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Beavers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Butte for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. Beaverhead County will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 51-39 non-league win over Bozeman (Bozeman, MT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.

The Vikings & Valkyries (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Stevensville (Stevensville, MT). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Stevensville was nipped by Whitefish (Whitefish, MT), 53-32, in a non-league test.
