In Saturday's non-league bout, the Bremond Tigers (Bremond, TX) basketball team toppled the host Snook Bluejays (Snook, TX), by a tally of 48-35.
The Tigers now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Iola for a 2A Region IV District 26 bout on Tuesday, December 16. Bremond will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-41 non-league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-2.
The Bluejays (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Somerville (Somerville, TX). The Yeguas come into the 2A Region IV District 26 test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Somerville beat Brazos (Wallis, TX), 33-29, in a non-league test.
