In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Tri-Point Chargers basketball team scored a good 49-40 win over the Herscher Tigers.
The Chargers (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Peotone (Peotone, IL). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Peotone defeated Coal City (Coal City, IL), 39-29, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Hoopeston Cornjerkers (Hoopeston, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 13. Herscher will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Cornjerkers enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 36-22 league win over Westville (Westville, IL).
