In Saturday's non-league test, the Lund Mustangs (Lund, NV) basketball squad trounced the host Liberty Baptist Academy Knights (Las Vegas, NV), by a score of 38-9.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the White Pine Bobcats (Ely, NV) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, December 18. Lund will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 6-0 record after their 51-23 non-league win over West Wendover (West Wendover, NV).

The Knights now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beaver Dam for a 1A South battle on Monday, January 5.
