The Perry Maroons (Perry, OK) basketball toppled the visiting Tonkawa Buccaneers (Tonkawa, OK), 48-40 in Saturday's league bout.

The Maroons now hold a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pawnee for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 16. Perry will clash with a Black Bears squad coming off a 42-28 non-league win over Frontier (Red Rock, OK). The Black Bears record now stands at 6-0.

The Buccaneers (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Chisholm (Enid, OK). The Longhorns come into the 89er - West bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Chisholm fell by Ripley (Ripley, OK), 63-38, in a non-league bout.
