Baldwin Panthers (Baldwin, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Marion Eagles (Marion, MI), 61-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Baldwin upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Panthers host Catholic Central (Manistee, MI) to play the Sabers in a West Michigan D bout on Thursday, December 16. The Sabers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Catholic Central won 75-44 in their recent league bout against Crossroads Charter Academy (Big Rapids, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Walkerville Wildcats (Walkerville, MI) in a West Michigan D bout, on Thursday, December 16. Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 61-57 league loss to Pentwater (Pentwater, MI).
