California High School Basketball - Sutter nips Wheatland

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sutter Huskies (Sutter, CA) and the visiting Wheatland Pirates (Wheatland, CA), saw Sutter's basketball squad hold off Wheatland by a tally of 51-50.

With the victory, Sutter improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Winters (Winters, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 16. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Pirates play the Highlands Scots (North Highlands, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 16. Wheatland will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Scots come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 77-75 non-league win over Alpha Charter (Elverta, CA).
