The Anderson County Bearcats basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Shelby County Rockets to 14 in the Bearcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Bearcats now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spencer County for a District 30 contest on Thursday, December 16. Anderson County will battle a Bears team coming off a 55-44 non-league win over Assumption (Louisville, KY). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
The Rockets (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY). The Bearcats come into the District 30 contest with a 6-0 record.
