The North Eugene Highlanders basketball team (Eugene, OR), was overwhelmed 62-20 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Crater Comets (Central Point, OR)
The Comets now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Eugene for a 5A Midwestern battle on Tuesday, December 14. Crater will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 49-42 non-league loss to Corvallis (Corvallis, OR). The Highlanders record now stands at 2-2.
The Highlanders (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Crater (Central Point, OR). The Comets come into the 5A Midwestern battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Crater trounced Mazama (Klamath Falls, OR), 54-23, in a non-league battle.
