The Windsor Dukes basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech Dragons to 11 in the Dukes league triumph on Wednesday.
The Dukes now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Surry County for a Tri-Rivers contest on Friday, December 16. Windsor will battle a Cougars team coming off a 31-21 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-5.
The Dragons (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Franklin, VA). The Broncos enter the Tri-Rivers contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Franklin triumphed over Surry County (Dendron, VA), 31-21, in a league contest.
