The Beebe Badgers basketball team (Beebe, AR), was overwhelmed 68-45 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Maumelle Hornets (Maumelle, AR)
The Hornets now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vilonia for a 5A Central battle on Saturday, December 17. Maumelle will confront a Eagles team coming off a 42-40 league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 9-2.
The Badgers (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Catholic (Little Rock, AR). The Rockets come into the 5A Central battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Catholic was overwhelmed by Central (Little Rock, AR), 75-33, in a non-league battle.
