North Carolina High School Basketball - Blue Ridge Early College ripped by Swain County

The Swain County Maroon Devils basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats to 27 in the Maroon Devils league triumph on Wednesday.

The Maroon Devils now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hayesville for a 1A Conference 43 contest on Friday, December 16. Swain County will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 69-66 league win over Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-1.

The Bobcats (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Nantahala (Topton, NC). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Nantahala was routed by Highlands (Highlands, NC), 89-56, in a non-league contest.
