The Jurupa Hills Spartans basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Carter Lions to 57 in the Spartans league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spartans now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Quinta for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Jurupa Hills will battle a Aztecs team coming off a 43-42 non-league win over Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA). The Aztecs record now stands at 5-9.

The Lions (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame (Riverside, CA). The Titans enter the Ivy contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame was nudged by Bloomington (Bloomington, CA), 58-47, in a league contest.
