The Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Discovery Warriors to 11 in the Cougars league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cougars now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sun Valley Magnet for a Central Valley contest on Monday, January 9. Lake Balboa College Prep will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 51-43 league loss to Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology (Sun Valley, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-5.

The Warriors (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Valor Academy (Van Nuys, CA). The enter the Central Valley contest with a 3-4 record.
