In Wednesday's league outing, the Wheatland-Chili Wildcats (Scottsville, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Elba Lancers (Elba, NY), by a count of 53-32.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Notre Dame (Batavia, NY). The Fighting Irish go into the Section 5 Genesee County outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Notre Dame was crushed by Byron-Bergen (Bergen, NY), 53-45, in a league outing.
The Lancers now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Webber for a Section 5 Genesee County outing on Friday, December 16. Elba will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 76-32 league loss to Notre Dame (Batavia, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
