Florida High School Basketball - Gulf ripped by Mitchell

December 14, 2022: New Port Richey, FL 34655

The Mitchell Mustangs basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Gulf Buccaneers to 32 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River Ridge for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 15. Mitchell will battle a Royal Knights team coming off a 73-70 league loss to Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Royal Knights record now stands at 4-3.

The Buccaneers (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Brooksville, FL). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record.
