North Carolina High School Basketball - Heritage overwhelmed by Leesville Road

The Leesville Road Pride basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Heritage Huskies to 44 in the Pride non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Pride now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rolesville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Leesville Road will battle a Rams team coming off a 71-55 non-league loss to Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC). The Rams record now stands at 1-7.

The Huskies (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars come into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Athens Drive triumphed over Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 54-41, in a non-league contest.
