Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) and the host Nyssa Bulldogs (Nyssa, OR), saw New Plymouth's basketball squad hold off Nyssa by a tally of 40-37.

With the victory, New Plymouth improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Pilgrims travel to Marsing (Marsing, ID) to confront the Huskies in a 2A Western Idaho challenge on Friday, December 16. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Marsing lost 51-27 in their recent league challenge against Nampa Christian (Nampa, ID)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Parma Panthers (Parma, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Nyssa will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
