The Onaway Cardinals basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Pellston Hornets to 47 in the Cardinals league victory on Wednesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest Area for a Ski-Valley contest on Friday, December 16. Onaway will battle a Warriors team coming off a 73-26 league loss to St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.

The Hornets (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI). The Snowbirds come into the Ski-Valley contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, St. Mary Cathedral prevailed over Forest Area (Fife Lake, MI), 73-26, in a league contest.
