The Lightridge Bolts basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Broad Run Spartans to 44 in the Bolts league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bolts now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broad Run for a contest on Friday, January 27.

The Spartans (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage (Leesburg, VA). The Pride enter the contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Heritage ran past Herndon (Herndon, VA), 43-39, in a non-league contest.
