Maumelle Hornets (Maumelle, AR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Beebe Badgers (Beebe, AR), 59-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Maumelle upgrades its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Morrilton (Morrilton, AR) to play the Devil Dogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Devil Dogs come into the bout with a record of 5-1.

Next up, the Badgers play the Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors (Little Rock, AR) in a 5A Central bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Beebe will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
