New York High School Basketball - Brighton can't hold off Canandaigua Academy

The Canandaigua Academy Braves basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Brighton Bruins to 30 in the Braves league triumph on Wednesday.
The Braves now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spencerport for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Canandaigua Academy will battle a Rangers team coming off a 67-23 non-league loss to Penfield (Penfield, NY). The Rangers record now stands at 0-3.
The Bruins (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Penfield (Penfield, NY). The Patriots enter the Section 5 Monroe County I contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Penfield was nudged by Webster Schroeder (Webster, NY), 61-48, in a league contest.
