The Roosevelt Rough Riders basketball team (Kent, OH), was overwhelmed 58-35 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Copley Indians (Copley, OH)
The Indians now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cuyahoga Falls for a Suburban - American battle on Saturday, December 17. Copley will battle a Black Tigers team coming off a 43-32 league win over Aurora (Aurora, OH). The Black Tigers record now stands at 4-3.
The Rough Riders (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Highland (Medina, OH). The Hornets come into the Suburban - American battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Highland trounced Barberton (Barberton, OH), 63-27, in a league battle.
