Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Twinfield Trojans (Plainfield, VT), 48-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hartford upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Oxbow (Bradford, VT) to play the Olympians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Olympians come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Oxbow lost 52-37 in their recent non-league bout against Hazen (Hardwick, VT)
