The Kasson-Mantorville Komets basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Pine Island Panthers to 38 in the Komets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Komets now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hastings for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Kasson-Mantorville will meet a Raiders team coming off a 59-58 non-league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, WI). The Raiders record now stands at 1-3.

The Panthers (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Goodhue (Goodhue, MN). The Wildcats enter the AA Section 1 contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Goodhue triumphed over Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN), 70-31, in a league contest.
