With the victory, North Buncombe improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Black Hawks host T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC) to confront the Rams in a 3A/4A Conference 53 challenge on Friday, December 16. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. T.C. Roberson won 57-42 in their recent league challenge against McDowell (Marion, NC)

Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 42 challenge, on Friday, December 16. Mitchell will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Warhorses come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 65-43 league loss to Draughn (Valdese, NC).
