South East Jaguars (South Gate, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA), 58-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South East upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Jaguars host Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Rough Riders in a Eastern bout on Monday, January 9. The Rough Riders go into the bout with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Warriors play the Century Centurions (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 15. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Centurions go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 37-25 non-league loss to Estancia (Costa Mesa, CA).
