West Jefferson Roughriders (West Jefferson, OH) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Triad Cardinals (North Lewisburg, OH), 52-12 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Jefferson upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Catholic Central (Springfield, OH) to play the Irish in a Ohio Heritage bout on Saturday, December 17. The Irish come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Catholic Central lost 48-37 in their recent league bout against Greenon (Springfield, OH)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Greenon Knights (Springfield, OH) in a Ohio Heritage bout, on Saturday, December 17. Triad will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 64-32 non-league win over Dixie (New Lebanon, OH).
