Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC) and the visiting Jacksonville Cardinals (Jacksonville, NC), saw White Oak's basketball squad nip Jacksonville by a margin of 27-23.
The Vikings (1-6) will now prepare for their test against East Carteret (Beaufort, NC). The Mariners go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
The Cardinals now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to New Bern for a non-league test on Friday, December 16.
