Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Tandem Friends Badgers (Charlottesville, VA), 59-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Covenant upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA) to play the Flames in a bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Flames go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Eastern Mennonite lost 64-19 in their recent non-league bout against Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA)

Next up, the Badgers play the Fishburne Military Caissons (Waynesboro, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Tandem Friends will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
