The South Shore Cardinals (Port Wing, WI) basketball nipped the visiting Bayfield Trollers (Bayfield, WI), 68-64 in Thursday's league test.
The Cardinals (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Washburn (Washburn, WI). The Castle Guards go into the Northern Lights test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Washburn was tipped by Solon Springs (Solon Springs, WI), 82-45, in a league test.
The Trollers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Lac Courte Oreilles for a Northern Lights test on Monday, December 18.
