Blytheville Chickasaws (Blytheville, AR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR), 58-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Blytheville upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Chickasaws travel to Pocahontas (Pocahontas, AR) to play the Redskins in a 4A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Rebels play the Mammoth Spring Bears (Mammoth Spring, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 65-38 non-league win over Viola (Viola, AR).
