The Jefferson Cavaliers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Brandon Valley Lynx to 48 in the Cavaliers league victory on Thursday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to O'Gorman for a AA contest on Friday, December 15. Jefferson will battle a Knights team coming off a 49-41 league loss to Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
The Lynx (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD). The Rough Riders come into the AA contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Roosevelt prevailed over O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD), 49-41, in a league contest.
