In Thursday's league outing, the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA), by a margin of 82-26.

The Mustangs (6-0) will now prepare for their outing against Fauquier (Warrenton, VA). The Falcons go into the Northwestern outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Fauquier smashed Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA), 63-32, in a non-league outing.

The Tigers now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Warren County for a Northwestern outing on Friday, December 15. Brentsville District will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-43 league loss to Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-5.
