Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ), 72-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Centennial upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Coyotes host Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Rancho Verde won 66-42 in their recent non-league bout against Orange Vista (Perris, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Peoria Panthers (Peoria, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Kellis will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 49-47 non-league win over Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ).
